Circle of Life is a down to earth, easy to read account of how a New Zealand couple Greg and Lee Roche took control of Greg's cancer treatment and learned how to live a healthier, happier life.
This book is not about eating grass, meditating 12 hours a day and giving up the fun things in life. It is an account of how you can make simple, easy to implement changes in your life to help your body have the best chance of fighting cancer. See how Greg used an alkaline diet, meditation and miso soup to help heal himself.
From diagnosis, to poor diagnosis, to surviving and thriving, Circle of Life is an inspirational journey written with humour and insight. It is full of useful information, funny stories, sad anecdotes and above all else... it is full of HOPE! If you have cancer, know and love someone with cancer or simply want to know what to do to avoid getting cancer, then this book is for you.
When you feel like there are no options left open to you this book will help you see that there is always hope and if one couple can beat cancer then maybe we can all beat it.
When you read this book you will learn how Greg went through a conventional treatment regime and also made simple changes in his lifestyle to have the best chance of surviving. You will read about how they changed what Greg ate, thought and surrounded himself with to have the best chance at beating his cancer.
One of the most frightening aspects of any cancer treatment is the devastating effect that radiation and chemotherapy can have on your body. Sometimes these treatments leave your body so debilitated that it can’t recover and heal, and then a loved one who might have beaten the cancer unfortunately passes away.
